Lovely little country house. Hosts made us feel very welcome after quite a stressful long journey! A warm homely feel to the place which you don’t get in standard hotels. Room was spotless (room 5 has an amazing bathtub) and despite the weather not being great it is a short walk to the coastal path where you can see some stunning views. Couldn’t fault it. If you need to stay close to Perranporth airfield, this is your place. Great views of Perranporth from the room as well as a very decent parking area. Overall it's worth the stay.
We stayed here on our SWCP walk. Fantastic all around. Great room with plenty of space, nice shower, great breakfast, and a lounge with a small but good selection of beers and wines for the evening. Great and very helpful owners as well, we enjoyed chatting with them and got good advice to finding the path in the morning. It is a bit out of town and uphill so for you southbound walkers have your meal and visit the shop before you head up or maybe think about a taxi if you walk back down for dinner. The benefit of the walk up to the hotel is an easy southbound start the next morning.
A great stop for our SW Coast Path walk. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with welcoming owners and a delicious breakfast . If you’re on foot ask about the shortcut from the town so you can avoid walking on the main road. Though we only stayed one night it would be a lovely place for an extended stay.
Myself and my partner stayed here twice, a couple of days apart due to tour of Cornwall. And of the two other places we stayed this Guest house is standout. Ulrika and Brad have done a job beyond measure. The room, flawless. We stayed in two different room, the first was a corner room over looking the garden and road, beyond clean. Everything is faultless. The second time was in the top room at the top of the house. Great views even with the fog. Stunning room, perfect (Will have to book early enough to make sure I get this room again). Good showers all round, makes a difference after all the walking. Now a passion point, breakfasts. Tasty. Very good extremely high quality ingredients. Perfect coffee and good cold breakfast bits, the peaches especially. Brad and Ulrika are doing everything very very right. They are inviting without being invading. Everything is every balanced and comfortable. Plus a happy cat. We shall be back. Many times. Thank you very much for the memorable time. PS. evening food smelled amazing but was too full of pasty to try, sorry! PPS. how do I add more stars, needs more stars, 10 out of 5 seems fair.
Stayed here for one night during our coastal hike. It has a good location if you want to find a place close to the SW Coastal Path and don't mind if there's no shops or restaurants around. The room was clean and new, the owner was kind. However, this Hotel was the most expensive from all we booked...I think it was a little overpriced.
On the 1st April, we had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this fabulous hotel and we had our Alsation dog with us too. Our caring Hosts could not do enough for us, the room was very tastefully decorated and so very very clean. Our Breakfast was fantastic, with the added pleasure of home made bread, and the location is such an added bonus. I have never stayed anywhere as perfect as here and really looking forward to hopefully going back soon. Thank you both so very much for making our first night stay in Cornwall so memorable - Paula, Graham and Raz
